"These days, everyone’s worried about students using ChatGPT to write their papers. But if you see AI primarily as an essay-generating machine, you may be missing out on the many legitimate ways it can serve as a practical writing tool.
As it happens, some of the best writers of our generation are using ChatGPT—not to do their writing for them, but as a sounding board, research assistant, thesaurus, and editor.
Join us as comedy writer Sarah Rose Siskind '14 (StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson) and Hugo Award-winning sci-fi writer Ken Liu '98, J.D. '04 (author of The Paper Menagerie, translator of The Three-Body Problem) share how professional writers are using ChatGPT in their creative process."
